При оценке системы принимают во внимание: организацию рабочего времени (ежедневники, еженедельники, ежемесячники, организация деловых встреч, автоматизация составления календарных планов), ведение адресной книги и деловых контактов (включая работу с телефонным справочником), ведение перечня заданий (включая текущие, с установлением их приоритетности, переносом невыполненных заданий на следующий день), повышение производительности труда (наличие утилит, таких, как калькуляторы, часы, таблицы кодов ASCII, записные книжки и неструктурированные базы данных).
